Today's price of gas in Australia

I divided the Australian cant per gallon by the amount of cents in a Australian dollar.  I got 1.47 i then multiplied that by 3.79 liters which is how many liters are in a gallon of gas.  Then i divided it by 1 liter because that is the amount of gas that we are trying to find I came up with the Answer 5.57.  So this means that in Australia they have to pay 5.57 dollars for 1 gallon of gas.

               I think that watching the video on solving two step equations really helped me understand better how to find x by itself and then divide across to that you can get a more friendly looking equation to solve.
