When we studied temperature change what we did was we looked at temperature change around certain areas and how it changed using data and graphs for my data i got a correlation coefficient of 2.89 as well as a slope of .32 for my Y intercept i got .28 as for the class data it looked like it ranges anywhere from -.027 to .565 for the correlation coefficient as well as for the class slope it ranged anywhere from -.001 to .324 as well as the class

Penalty shoot out blog post

This problem is that there are a number of penalty kicks that the team had and what i have to do is fin out how many were made using the mean median and mode of all the numbers.
I used the mean and found out that 8 people took six shots on goal and from there using the mean median and mode i found out how many each person made, by using this graph

Algebra reflective blog post

Looking back on my first week at AHS i am really happy with were i am in the class and in the school. The first goal that i have for myself is do better this year in algebra than i did last year in algebra. The second goal that i have for myself is that I want to play varsity as a sophmore. The third goal that i have for myself is that outside of school i want to be a better person and i want to stop lying so much to myself and to other people.

Parent/teacher confrences fall 2013

Yes the class has met my expectations and is everything i thought it would be and the reason why i signed up for the class
One of the things that is going good for me is watching the videos at home and then taking the quizzes
One of the things that is challenging for me is staying interested in class but i think that's something that i need to work on for myself
There is nothing else that you can do as a teacher except for teach
As a student i just need to pay more attention more in class and pay attention on the homework
Nothing my parents can do except keep pushing me like they are pushing me now.
There is nothing other that my parents should know about except that it is a fun class and i like it.

To me the X and Y intercepts are were the e line passes through the X line on the graph ( the horizontal line on the graph ) and were the graph line passes through the Y line on the graph ( the virtical line on the graph).

y=1/2x+5

The y intercept is 5

The slope is 1/2 or up 1 and over 2

I will always remember which one is the X intercept because X comes before z in the alphabet and so then that is the one that i look for first.

Equation- y=2x+6

The x intercept in this equation is 2 and the y intercept is 6

I fiund these intercepts because 2 is the x in the equation so that would be the X intercept and 13 in the equation would be the y intercept and thats how i got 13 for the Y intercept.
